The season premiere of RuPaul’s Drag Race is becoming must-see television in it’s own right. From Lady Gaga strutting into the workroom to Christina Aguilera belting on the runway, the divas consistently come to play on the season premiere, and this year looks to be no exception. It’s been reported today that hip hop princess Nicki Minaj will be joining RuPaul and company for the Season 12 premiere!
The teaser trailer of Minaj’s debut on the runway is also the first time you get to see some of the Season 12 queens in the workroom, and based on their reaction to Minaj being announced as the guest judge, you can expect some absolutely epic looks being delivered. Minaj herself looks scorching in fire engine red (with matching hair) and readily lift a hand to “pledge allegiance to the drag”!
“RuPaul’s Drag Race” debuts on Friday, February 28th at 8:00 PM ET/PT on VH1. The new season will feature all 90-minute episodes followed by the Emmy® nominated after-show “RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked” at 9:30 PM ET/PT (check local listings)
