I think we all can remember where we were when we heard about the shooting at the Pulse Night Club in Orlando. I'm getting teary eyed just thinking about it and knowing that the pain is still there for the family, friends, and the gay community in Orlando and in Florida.
Friends, family, and loved gathered early Monday morning to remember the 49 people who were killed June 12 at Pulse nightclub. A vigil started at 2 a.m., the same time a gunman entered and opened fire inside the club six months ago.
WFTV.com shared their coverage of the event.
Another Florida station out of Miami had a little bit different coverage of the event. In its story, NBCMiami.com chose to show new footage from the night of the shooting. Living in Florida, it seems that we receive updates every so often of transcripts and sound bites of the 911 calls along with new footage monthly.
I've chosen to not share all of the new information, footage, clips with Instinct readers. The footage here wasn't too bad, but when they shared footage from inside the club, inside the bathrooms with blood on the walls, I thought that was too much.
Do we need to see what did go on inside the club?
Do we need to hear more about the killer?
It has been 6 months since the shooting. It is time to heal.
We will never forget Orlando and we are here if you need us.
