A Down Under Festival Is Poised To Break The Record For The Most Dancing Drag Queens

Australia may be swept by some of the worst fires to ever hit our neighbors Down Under, but the annual ChillOut Festival is doing their part to bring a little bit of humor for the  citizens that need it now more than ever.

The festival is seeking more than 145 participants as they work towards breaking the world record for the longest line of dancing drag queens. Did I mention the queens need to be dressed as LGBT icon Dolly Parton?  Australia’s longest-running (and biggest) regional LGBTQ Pride festival kicks off the event Daylesford, Victoria on March 8th.

NewNowNext reports that ChillOut 2020 will also be trying to break the world record for the largest human rainbow as well. Event organizers believe the record-breaking living rainbow will serve as “a collective symbol of solidarity and acceptance” for the LGBTQ community.
