Congratulations to the happy couple.
Last June, we shared with you the news of actor Connor Jessup coming out as gay. The Locke and Key actor, came out on his 25th birthday through social media. Back then, he wrote:
“I knew I was gay when I was thirteen, but I hid it for years. I folded it and slipped it under the rest of my emotional clutter. Not worth the hassle. No one will care anyway. If I can just keep making it smaller, smaller, smaller…. My shame took the form of a shrug, but it was shame. I’m a white, cis man from an upper-middle class liberal family. Acceptance was never a question. But still, suspended in all this privilege, I balked. It took me years. It’s ongoing. I’m saying this now because I have conspicuously not said it before.”
And now, several months later, Jessup is coming out with even more information. The fact that he has a boyfriend.
Jessup took to Instagram again to share this information. In a belated Valentine’s Day post, Jessup officially revealed that he’s been dating 13 Reasons Why star Miles Heizer.
“I’m late but I love you, you’re good, you make me better, happy v+1 day”
Heizer then responded in the comments with a green heart and crying emoji.
Back when Jessup came out, some questioned the relationship between him and Heizer. After all, they didn’t quite hide their close relationship. That said, the two did not officially comment on the situation until this moment. As such, we’re happy to congratulate the two officially on their love and happiness. We hope for many more days of joy between the two in the future.
