Billy Porter’s scorching dance track “Love Yourself” has skyrocketed up the charts, even getting some attention right here for the phenomenal remixes that came along with the track.
Now, People reports that everyone from Kinky Boots colleagues like Cyndi Lauper, Jerry Mitchell and Stark Stands to Pose family MJ Rodriguez, Ryan Jamal Swain, Dyllón Burnside, Jeremy McClain, and Jason A. Rodriguez are giving their best Billy Porter realness in the celebrity lip sync version of the video! An added bonus is catching the Ogunquit Playhouse cast of Kinky Boots along with everyone from Project Runway mentor Christian Siriano to Broadway sensation and trans activist Peppermint to daytime talk show host Kelly Ripa!
“Love Yourself” was written and produced by D. Smith and executive produced by Bill Butler and Carmen Cacciatore. The video was directed by Ryan Ratelle, both shot and edited by Cristian Peña and assistant directed by Ester Shamailova.
Next up for Porter?-Filming for Pose Season Three (coming in 2020) and performing Love Yourself on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, which he will be hosting live from New Orleans, and starring alongside Tiffany Hadish and Rose Byrne in the feature film Like A Boss.
