Christian Ronaldo Butts Heads With Rival Koke. Gay Slurs Abound.

Tempers flare, testosterone levels are measured, and the boys butt heads like rams during mating season.  This is why we tune into soccer right?

Most likely no, but we also don't tune in to see homophobia in all of its glory.

According to reports in Spain, Ronaldo was allegedly branded a 'faggot' by Spain international Koke during an altercation after the Real star had settled the game with a sublime hat-trick in a 3-0 win.

Spanish radio station Cadena Cope revealed the alleged exchange when the pair came to blows in the changing rooms, with the three-time Ballon d'Or winner responding to Koke's alleged slur by saying, 'A faggot with a lot of money, you bastard.' –  dailymail.co.uk

The dailymail.co.uk did not include the words 'faggot' and 'bastard' but since they've been on South Park, it should be okay to type them, no?  Some sources say the last word was asshole and not bastard.  Either one works just fine.

Did the exchange in the changing room happen?

Did Ronaldo just admit to being gay?

Or was Ronaldo just saying he is rich, gay or o not, he's got the money?

Your thoughts Instincters?

My thoughts?  More power to Ronaldo.  If he is gay, it may be time to just say it.  I always think everyone needs to come out when they are ready, stars or not.

And my other thought is of "Fried Green Tomatoes."  Ronaldo's statement reminded me of this epic scene from the movie.

  1. And my question is who cares

And my question is who cares if Ronaldo is or not? He is a phenomenal player. Myself being a "normal" man (whatever, it means today…) in my sexual views I hope he is not, but overall I don't care. Will you call me a homophobe now because I made my stance on this topic? Why media like you always have to politicize everything there is even when it comes to sexual preferences of individual which should be personal? As I mentioned before, Ronaldo is an awesome player, he also does a lot of charity v. Messi not so and he is known for not paying taxes. Ronaldo is a good looking guy and not necessarily bad inside v. Messi rather not so but media definitely favors Messi, yet everything Ronaldo does is more scrutinize and with far worse bias when compared to Messi. Ronaldo is a symbol of Real Madrid and many have also problem with that since Real is affiliated with Franco (study history of Spain), and Franco who was anti-communist and not Hitler type like many paint him in dark colors. I suggest study history first, before turning everything into another emotion chaos which leads us nowhere…more…it moves us backwards . Go CR7…gay or not. It is his business, not ours!!!
