I never came out to my dad, never said those words "I'm Gay" to him. I told my mom she could tell him when she felt the time was right and considering all of the variables, she agreed that would be the best way. So when this story came along from InternAdam needing to tell his father and say those words to him, I was both a little jealous as well as inquisitive.
This year, a YouTuber named Adam Davis decided to make a video of coming out to his father. But it becomes clear early on that the father-son relationship had been strained for some time. – aplus.com
Some times the words just need to be said, to come out of your mouth, to be proclaimed, to move on, and to have closure.
Thanks Adam Davis for sharing this video with us. At the base of the youtube page, Adam shared his personal social media info and elaborated:
I came out to my Dad, and interviewed some family members before I finally told him. Dad passed away in 2006, and when I visited this past July it was the first time I had ever been to his grave since his funeral 9 years ago. I don't like cemeteries, but for so long I had been wanting to talk to him about who his son is – so I paid him a visit.
Many thanks to my friend Anthony Kalabretta for writing "Don't Let Go" specifically for this video. Follow him on his social media at the links below…and tell him to release this song on iTunes! – youtube.com

Coming Out To My Dad
https://youtu.be/uxb5ykxSSKQ
Nice video and heartfelt
Nice video and heartfelt sentiment is so sincere but why the schmaltzy music…..the people and their painful honesty speak for itself and don't need the contrived guitar background.
Touching and occasionally a bit of a tear jerker. Adam should be proud of his work.
Well done, and your Dad would no doubt be proud of you too….I know I would be.
