One of my road trips found me in Mobile, Alabama grabbing a drink at Flip Side Bar & Patio. It was a great and amazing night with a handful of guys I had never met before. What added to the evening was viewing an episode of Ru Paul's Drag Race. It was fun to hear the guys talk about the different contestants and their perspectives on who were the good, the bad, and the ugly.
I missed this, the camaraderie and the meeting of people in a bar setting, not based on sexual positions, but through chatting about current events, television, etc.
This week I and y'all will have the opportunity to have such an experience once again when FX hosts LGBTQ Screening Series for the Premiere Episode of …
The first installment of the new FX anthology series from Ryan Murphy, tells the story of the legendary rivalry between Joan Crawford (Jessica Lange) and Bette Davis (Susan Sarandon) during their collaboration on the Academy Award®-nominated thriller What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? and well after the cameras stopped rolling.
