Among the birthday wishes rolling in for Watkins was one from Rannells, who marked the occasion with a carousel of photos of his longtime love. And naturally, he led with a recent beach photo of Watkins looking extremely comfortable in his birthday suit—well, not that birthday suit, but close enough to get the gays’ attention.
“Happy Birthday, Tuc Watkins!!!!” said Rannells in an accompanying caption. “My goal is always to celebrate you everyday, but especially today. I love you, Tuc. You’re my guy.”
Honestly, if your boyfriend is turning 60 and you have a beach photo of him looking that good, putting it first in the carousel feels less like a choice and more like a public service.

There’s something especially lovely about the whole celebration. Yes, Rannells gave the internet a thirst-friendly beach photo to admire, but underneath the cheeky Instagram post is something much sweeter: two men celebrating each other, surrounded by family, affection and enough cake candles to potentially trigger a small fire code violation.
