Get Into it! Revry Heats Up August With Exclusive New LGBTQ Content

Revry – The Queens Documentary

This year’s star-studded gala for Trevor Live was the first one I had ever attended. The annual event honors LGBTQ allies and friends who specifically have made notable efforts in providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention to LGBTQ young adults under 25. Among this year’s honorees were Kelly Rippa, and that oh-so-fine hubby of hers – Mark Consuelo. Also honored was out super model-actress, Cara Delevingne.

The evening was robust with recognition, providing a unique opportunity to meet many people and brands who are champions for the cause of supporting LGBTQ youth in crisis. Notably, the plight for acceptance itself can often be the catalyst for a crisis, so it is great to see a shift for the better emerging in LGBTQ acceptance. Arguably the change has occurred mainly due to the rise of our presence in the media.

LGBTQ visibility in TV, music, publishing, and film has undoubtedly helped to shift the landscape. We’ve gone from the historic Stonewall Riot, to today, where a TV Drag Queen competition has garnered its creator–RuPaul, multiple Emmys and a star on the Hollywood walk of fame. Many cite networks like LogoTV, and Here TV as top media leaders in the revolution, but the Trevor Live event introduced me to another strong contender – Revry.TV, a content streaming service offering a wide range of exclusive LGBTQ material.

As a subscription-based, 24-hour media platform, Revry.TV offers members a rich plethora of programming inclusive of podcasts, music videos, movies, comedy specials and shorts, documentaries and original scripted series. It is among the best platforms for creating thoughtful and evocative LGBTQ content that represents the rich diversity of our community.

Revry recently announced an exciting August line up of highly-anticipated premieres; both Original Series and Original Films live on its free Pluto Channel 649. Check out of their stellar programming and get to know this exciting platform for all things LGBTQ, from the fearless to the fabulous!
