Spain’s Pride, called World Pride Madrid, has a high heel race… with a prize. Color me jealous.
The annual competition, which celebrated its 10th year, happens at the country’s capital on its cobbled Pelayo Street. And by the end of the race, one man walks home with a $600 prize and other rewards.
But, as if wearing at least 15cm high heels for a 100-meter race wasn’t enough, men who make it into the finals have to wear wigs and lipstick too. Though, skirts aren’t required.
