After the finale that left everyone gagging last night on RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 3 or the controversy that has been surrounding RuPaul’s comments about trans contestant on Drag Race—do we still have mental capacity for Mama Ru today? Well, of course!
RuPaul is the latest celebrity to be lauded with one of the greatest honors in Hollywood—a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The ceremony, which will take place on March 16, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. will be another milestone for the drag superstar.
Ana Martinez, Producer of the Walk of Fame ceremonies says this about RuPaul:
RuPaul is a Ruvolutionary performer who brought the art of Drag into the American public eye and made it mainstream. We are proud to add this groundbreaking entertainer on our historic Hollywood Walk of Fame.
In addition to this great news, which we’ve known for some time, RuPaul will make an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show to talk about the phenomenon that is RuPaul’s Drag Race, the honor of his star on the Walk of Fame and more!
During his interview Ru shares that he feels like he’s being knighted—and by none other than one of his idols Jane Fonda.
RuPaul also shares that he would love to have another of his idols, Judge Judy, as a Judge on Drag Race—in addition to Ellen, of course!
During the episode, Ru and Ellen teamed up for a game called Lip Sync for Your Wife that is a sickening combo of Ru’s infamous lip sync battles and Ellen’s “You Bet Your Wife”.

RuPaul’s star will be located 6652 Hollywood Boulevard, right outside the World of Wonder production office—which produces Drag Race.
