Griffin Continues To Say It FOR Us!
Ahh! Kathy Griffin has long been one of my idols – even after the whole, photogate. It’s actually still surreal that Kathy freakin’ Griffin – the self-proclaimed D-List comedienne from the 90s – was one of the biggest threats to the current White House administration in the last two years. Seriously, it still baffles me how the nation decided to bury her. But, then again, I’m one of the people who still watch Griffin’s Emmy winning series, My Life On The D-List, repeatedly on YouTube when I need some inspiration or a pick me up. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know Griffin held up a faux-beheaded Donald Trump and blah blah blah. It’s old news. But, this doesn’t mean she’s decided to remain quiet. I mean, why would she?!
The latest…Influencer (?) to face Griffin’s Twitter wrath is Tomi Lahren, you know her as a Conservative Commentator who continues to face backlash for her opinions and words. While I stand with any woman – or person – speaking their mind, it’s obvious tons of people don’t agree with anything that comes out of Lahren’s mouth. She’s gotten harassed several times, even in West Hollywood, Caliornia where she is frequently interviewing gays on the street, which has not been okay. But, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with being a keyboard warrior and insulting someone online – right? I mean, it only hurts if you let it. By now, Lahren seems unfazed by any negativity thrown her way.
Lahren recently tweeted, of course, about the Obama administration – telling former First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama, to “sit down” after Obama claimed America had a good President. Griffin was not having any of this and let her fingers do the talking. She tells Lahren to go F herself and how much of a horrible person she is. Check out Griffin’s tweet below:
Again, Lahren should be allowed to speak however the hell she pleases, but it is kind of comforting to know Griffin will always be here to…say exactly what we want to say. I mean, her old theme song did claim “I’ll say it for you”.
