Adam Lambert is officially off the market. Sorry fellas.
The “Whataya Want From Me” singer went Instagram official with his new beau Javi Costa Pola last week.
He shared several photos of them cuddled up with a simple caption: “LUV U.”
Spanish model Javi did something similar on his own Instagram the same day.
“But if I had you, that would be the only thing I’d ever need,” Javi wrote. Sound familiar? It’s a lyric from Adam’s song “If I Had You” from his debut album.
This isn’t a new relationship for them. Adam responded to a fan who assumed that they just became an item due to the popular social media platform.
“Honey we have been official for months,” he said. “IG isn’t the gatekeeper of our truth!”
Adam appeared at the 30th Annual GLAAD Media Awards on Thursday, March 28, where he spoke about his new relationship for the first time ever.
“Well, we’ve only been together a short while,” he explained to Entertainment Tonight about how Javi has helped influence his new music, “but it’s definitely a sweet finale to the whole process and the whole journey. I think the album, when people hear it, they’ll really like the fact that it kinda goes through the steps that it takes to look for happiness and to look for contentment.”
Adam had a high-profile relationship with Finnish entertainment reporter and reality TV personality Sauli Koskinen beginning in November 2010. That ended on amicable terms in April 2013.
Perhaps Javi is good promotion tool for Adam’s return to music. He released “Feel Something” on February 22, which Rolling Stone referred to as an “achingly yearning new song.” The Grammy nominee has not put out a new studio album in four years.
