Debra Messing received no birthday love from her Will & Grace costar Megan Mullally amid their rumored feud.

The fiery redhead turned 51 on Thursday, August 15. Eric McCormack, who plays Will on the Emmy-winning series, was the only cast member to share an Instagram post related to her birthday.

Debra later had a star-studded get together for her big day that included Chelsea Handler, Connie Britton, Mary McCormick and Camryn Manheim. Megan, 60, was a no-show for that.

A conspiracy theory started going around last week about why Will & Grace was cancelled when fans noticed that Debra and Megan unfollowed each other on social media. Everyone from the primary cast (Sean Hayes) included still follow each other minus the two funny ladies, leading many to believe that the show got the axe for personal reasons and not professional ones.

Megan intensified those rumors when she posted and deleted an Instagram story on Tuesday, August 13 that talked about her feeling “the best” now that she’s lost her “attachment to somebody.”

Another cryptic post that still remains active on her page is a message that says “Don’t ask people for directions if they’ve never been where you’re going.”

Sean, 49, has remained quiet about Debra and Megan’s alleged drama as well. He’s been spending his time in Provincetown, Massachusetts over the past week and posting several clips and photos from it on his Instagram.

Executive producers Max MutchnickDavid Kohan and James Burrows announced in July 2019 that the upcoming season of W&G will be its last. The show was rebooted in September 2017 to stellar ratings and reviews by fans and critics alike. Some of the cast members earned Golden Globe and Emmy nominations as a result.

Megan is still promoting the upcoming season amid her rumored feud with Debra. She revealed on Saturday, August 17, that Saturday Night Live alum Vanessa Bayer will return for a second time.
