They look so young!
Game of Thrones is at the start of its final season, and many of the cast (past and present) have a lot to be thankful for. The show kickstarted the careers of several actors for both the screen and the stage.
In addition, many of its younger stars grew up with the show for nearly a decade. With actors like Maisie Williams and Isaac Hempstead Wright, this is pretty obvious. But even some of the young men look different from how they looked at the show’s start in 2011.
To show this, Richard Madden released a throwback photo on Instagram. Madden, who’s preparing for the release of the Elton John biopic Rocketman where he apparently acts in a gay scene, decided to make us all feel a little old with his recent Throwback Thursday post.
The photo shows him with Kit Harington and Alfie Allen. All of whom happen to be the same age, 32. The photo shows the three men after having their first table read. At the time, their characters were like brothers and you can feel that sibling bromance right off the picture.
We wonder what those three young actors would think after being told just how big Game of Thrones would get. Simpler times.
Richard Madden isn’t the only Game of Thrones star who is getting nostalgic as the show begins its eighth and final season. HBO released a video a couple of weeks ago of the cast remembering their time on the show, sharing stories of the past, and saying their goodbyes to the production.
