Television viewers in Spain got an eyeful last month when one contestant on a popular talent show twerked his way across the stage.
In the video below, a young man walks on stage and is asked by the judges what kind of performance he’ll be giving them, the live audience, and everyone watching at home.
The man, named Toni, says he’ll be twerking before he jumps right into it. What follows is a mix of total bafflement, an impressive display of flexibility, and a lot of booty shaking.
After the performance was over, Toni received a huge round of applause from the audience, including the judges and his parents.
But, global response to the video hasn’t been as kind. The video below has nearly 600 dislikes and several homophobes in the comments posting the-oh-so-creative, “gayyyyy” or other phrases to share their disgust.
This has us wondering how Toni would have fared if he had performed on America’s Got Talent. While we get busy contemplating that, you can get busy by watching Toni get busy on stage.

He's talented at coming up with a routine that shows great flexibility and control in the general area around his core, but I think he's a one-trick pony looking for a record number of tricks.
