Gus Kenworthy set the record straight on what hunky A-list star his boyfriend Matt Wilkas would give him a hall pass to be naughty with.
He chatted about this with OK! Magazine at the 30th Annual GLAAD Media Awards on Saturday, May 4.
The handsome couple, along with several others including Madonna and Sarah Jessica Parker, were in attendance at the major event. It took place at the New York Hilton Midtown in NYC.
So who did Gus, 27, end up choosing as the guy he would be allowed to enjoy an intimate experience with?
None other than Canadian pop star Shawn Mendes! The “Stitches” singer and decorated Olympian met back in late March in Zurich, Switzerland.
Gus revealed that Shawn, 19, was shirtless when they initially greeted each other backstage at one of his concerts. This caused the openly gay athlete to fake faint before they had a quick conversation. “He was really sweet,” Gus admitted.
Gus also wanted to “connect” with Ricky Martin and Jwan Yosef last year after he and Matt ran into them at the Oscars.

“Us: We were wearing black Ralph Lauren tuxedos, mine had little cowboys on it,” Gus captioned. “You: You were also both wearing tuxedos because… well, because it was the Oscar’s and everybody does.”

The four of us chatted and laughed but then, sadly, got separated in the chaos of the Oscar’s. My bf and I searched for you both for the rest of the night but never found you again.
