The latest trailer for the upcoming film Love, Simon is out.
If you don’t know, Love, Simon is the next gay film to watch in this year. It’s not because the film is the next artsy movie project to take awards season by storm. In fact, it’s being highly anticipated because its almost the exact opposite of that.
Love, Simon is a film that is being backed by a major production/distribution company, the same that worked on The Fault in Our Stars. Gay film fans and cinephiles are hoping that means the film will get wider recognition thanks to its wider theater release.
As for the story itself, it’s based off of a popular teen novel titled Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda.
The film follows a closeted teen named Simon who shares his daily woes with an anonymous online buddy. But then the online pen pal reveals that he is not only a schoolmate, but that he knows Simon.
