Zoe Kravitz Slinks Into The Role Of Catwoman In “The Batman”

The upcoming Matt Reeves directed The Batman has found one of it’s most beloved and famed opponents of The Dark Knight; fresh off of her star turn in HBO’s Big Little Lies, Zoe Kravitz has signed on to play Catwoman, per the The Hollywood Reporter.com

Casting for this role was one of the most buzzed about in Hollywood, with starlets of the moment such as Ana de Armas, Ella Balinska, Eiza Gonzalez and Kravitz herself reading with Robert Pattinson, who has already been cast as in the lead role.

Further casting for the film is actively taking place and Harpersbazaar.com has some of the names being bandied about. In addition to Robert Pattinson and Kravitz playing The Batman and Catwoman respectively, expect to see Jeffrey Wright on board as Commissioner Gordon and Jonah Hill is in serious talks to join the rogue’s gallery of The Batman as either Penguin or The Riddler

Kravitz joins a long line of actresses who have portrayed Catwoman, with everyone from Halle Berry (Catwoman) to Julie Newmar and Eartha Kitt (the kitsch-tastic Batman television series of the 60’s).
