It looks like a brand new partnership has flourished in the LGBT destination town of Rehoboth Beach, DE. After an uber-sucessful first season at their new Baltimore Avenue space The Pines, partners Tyler Townsend, Bob Suppies and Kevin McDuffie have acquired Aqua Grill from former owner Bill Shields, reports rehobothfoodie.com.
Aqua is a well established spot, known for their daily packed happy hours and strong cocktails, all at a prime outdoor setting. They have though, struggled to find their footing in a town sometimes crowded with restaurant options.
Standing apart is something that the crew at The Pines is quickly proving they excel at. Since their opening earlier this season, Chef Dane Wilfong has kept palettes and patrons returning with creations such as the Olive Oil Poached Shrimp & Grits or THE PINES Chicken Sandwich, quickly gaining the establishment a reputation of great food at a fair price, in a sensational location.
It will be interesting to see how the newest addition to Baltimore Avenue makes their footprint even more prominent in the 2020 season.
