RuPaul is a national treasure, and this is possibly the closest many of us will ever get to him. But trust us, it’s pretty close.
The Queen of drag queens touched down on Vanity Fair to be the cover story of the publication’s 2019 holiday issue. To go with that, the tv personality sat down with Vanity Fair to talk about a series of topics. And the conversation got very intimate. It helped that the camera kept getting closer and closer to Ru’s face!
But back to the topics. RuPaul touched on a series of issues and subjects like his special space to seek peace, his first picnic, advice on living with loneliness, feeling like an outsider, his open marriage, how he met his husband, his obsessions, his musical tastes, how his drag persona came to be, how drag has changed between then and now, his mother’s influence, and more.
So… the light stuff.
