Only A Year After Chris Watt’s Horrific Murders, Lifetime Brings His Story To Screen… With An Incredibly Hot Lead Actor

Lifetime Television Movies (LTM) have become one of my favorite pastimes. Back to being one of the gayest teenagers in America, I’d sit in on a weekend evening with some girlfriends devouring a horrible diet and perhaps even worse acting performances during films like She’s Too Young, Lies My Mother Told Me, The Pregnancy Pact, and Girl Positive. LTM typically rips their films from the bizarre lives of celebrities like Anna Nicole Smith and Brittany Murphy to behind the scenes drama of television productions like Saved By The Bell and as most of us avid fans know: Directly from the headlines. We’ve already witnessed the network base films off real life murders involving Casey Anthony, Amanda Knox, the Menendez Brothers, and Drew Peterson. Now, we’re getting to see the horrific live action retelling of Colorado’s Watts Family Murders with the premiere of Chris Watts: Confessions of a Killer.

If you aren’t a big follower of true crime, the Watts Family Murders is the tragic title given to the lost lives of Shan’ann Watts and her two infant daughters by her husband (and father to the girls), Christopher Watts. The story is gruesome. Shann’ann, who suffered from the immune disease Lupus, would often boast about their social-media-perfect-life online and eventually become her husband’s first victim. She was pregnant when she was slain. Their daughters, ages three and four, were smothered shortly thereafter and put into oil tanks at Chris’ former construction jobsite. Chris would later confess to the murders, revealing he was having an affair and requested a divorce. He pleaded guilty in November 2018 to avoid the death penalty and was sentenced to five life terms, including three to be served consecutively, plus 85 years.

Some Facebook users on Lifetime’s official page have claimed the story is to soon to be told. But, I can’t help but believe Lifetime is always a step ahead (in speed, not quality), so this is right up their audience’s alley. The film is part of Lifetime’s Stop Violence Against Women campaign and will include a PSA with information on domestic abuse, crisis help lines and other.

As a self-proclaimed disciple of all true crime, I’m up to date with the Watts Family Murders. It’s common knowledge that Chris was having an affair with another woman, but in a lesser told version of the story, Trent Bolte claims he was Chris’ gay lover. According to Bolte, he met Chris in 2017 and they pursued a hidden sexual relationship for a year, with Chris purchasing him various materialistic items including plastic surgery. Bolte alleges he didn’t know Chris was still with his wife or that there was even another person (female) involved in the bizarre love-square. I’m curious if the LTM will touch on this alleged gay romance as a B-storyline, or perhaps even the entire reasoning. Check out Bolte’s interview with Inside Edition below:

Ashley Williams will portray the late Shan’ann while Sein Kleier (who last played an agent in Marvel’s superhero film Ant-Man and The Wasp) will take lead as Chris. While the real-life couple were attractive Midwesterners, I can’t help but feel Kleier is way too attractive to portray Chris. Seriously, Kleier (pictured below) is possibly one of the sexiest men I’ve ever seen, so this is about to be too severely mindblowing for my liking. Kleier is a Venus fly trap I’d walk straight into.

  1. Using the word “hot” to describe the actor portraying a brutal killer is distasteful at best, disgusting at its worst. Think the living relatives of this tragedy want to know this?

  2. Why is my laptop randomly shutting off? Maybe the pc settings are established to forbid various other computers from seeking
access to your computer. That happened to me when I bought a
fresh laptop. The security settings were established to optimum and every time I tried to
connect to a video site the pc switched itself
off until I lowered the computer’s settings. Sounds like it’s overheating, make certain it isn’t on your own lap or the bed.
