Come out to see Dance Parade’s Multicultural dances at New York’s largest holiday festival!
Dance Parade New York’s mission is to promote dance as an expressive and unifying art form by showcasing all forms of dance, educating the general public about the opportunities to experience dance, and celebrating the diversity of dance in New York City by sponsoring a yearly city-wide dance parade and dance festival. The non-profit also participates in other dance-related events throughout the year and is now an official partner of Winter’s Eve in Lincoln Center and is responsible for presenting the dance portion, curating groups that perform in the annual parade in May to showcase their work at this event. Winter’s Eve at Lincoln Square features free entertainment, family fun, outdoor food tastings and more, and begins with the Upper West Side’s tree lighting ceremony at Dante Park. The event takes place from 5:30pm – 9:00pm (rain or shine!) in public spaces, in select indoor venues and along the sidewalks of Lincoln Square, the gateway to the Upper West Side, from The Shops at Columbus Circle to 70th Street – in and around Broadway.
