Abby Huntsman Joins The View!
How Will The Liberal View Shape Up With A Second Conservative?
Does the summer get you in the doldrums because you’re lacking the best of daytime television? Yeah, same! I constantly feel out of the loop without hot topics from my Queen of daytime, Wendy Williams, and watching the dominating ladies of ABC’s The View to get my daily dose of politics. I mean, come on, you have to admit watching Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin, Joy Behar, and Meghan McCain discuss the current administration is better than the who’s-its and what’s-its in Facebook comments. With the necessary departure of the adorable, but easily swayed Sara Haines, we’re given another Conservative added to the roundtable.
According to ABC, former Fox and Friends and MSNBC co-host, Abby Huntsman, will join The View when it begins it’s 22nd season on September 4th. Aside from television hosting, Huntsman is the daughter to Jon Huntsman, who is the current United States Ambassador to Russia. But, possibly don’t worry her father was serving as said Ambassador under the Barack Obama administration as well. Aside from being married to her college sweetheart, Jeffrey Livingston, and being a mother: Huntsman is a fallen member of The Church of Latter-day Saints. According to On Top Magazine, she is a supportive ally to the LGBTQ community and has pushed for marriage equality in 2013, along with McCain.
Huntsman is definitely Republican, but so far she appears pretty harmless. I’m first of all absolutely thrilled Ana Navarro is not joining the cast because she appears to pan to Liberals for social media attention. However, seeing another red at The View’s typically all blue table is going to be rather interesting. McCain’s view has certainly helped shaped mine over her time on the series, so I’m looking forward to see how someone who may not be as informative will fair with the audience. Every day on social media, someone is calling for McCain to face the guillotine, so I’m sure Huntsman is about to enter into the eighth dimension of hell: Social media humiliation.
Are you excited to see Huntsman join The View upon it’s return on September 4th?! Where will you be watching?!
