A year or so later I found
A year or so later I found out what happens to some of the animals for adoption out there in some of the shelters. It's something that I still can't wrap my mind around. Some shelters can only keep animals for a few days and then they are put to sleep. Once I figured this out, I was terrified that someone had put my beloved animal to sleep. There are many animals for adoption out there and only so many people to adopt them.
