Adam Lambert may be single these days, but apparently the internet isn’t quite ready to let go of one of his old romances.
A 2020 holiday in Tulum, Mexico featuring Adam Lambert and fashion industry insider Oliver Gliese has suddenly gone viral on X, racking up 3.5 million views at the time of writing. The footage shows the pair enjoying a very affectionate beach day, complete with kisses, swimming trunks, and the kind of PDA that had viewers immediately wondering whether the former couple had somehow found their way back to each other.
Spoiler: they haven’t.
A Romance Worth Remembering
Lambert, currently the frontman of Queen, traveled to Tulum with Gliese in November 2020, where the two appeared very much wrapped up in each other.
The pair confirmed their relationship publicly in 2021, and their romance became a familiar presence around Lambert’s public life. They appeared together at red-carpet events, supported each other’s work, and weren’t particularly shy about showing their affection.
Their relationship eventually came to an amicable end in 2025 after several years together.
That hasn’t stopped fans from enjoying the throwback, however. If anything, the sudden resurgence has given everyone an excuse to revisit a particularly sweet chapter in the singer’s life.
And the comments are certainly feeling sentimental.
One admirer called the couple “relationship goals,” while another simply celebrated how happy Adam appeared. One commenter credited Lambert with being their “gay awakening” and apparently added a “bear awakening” to the list. Another described the pair as looking completely absorbed in their own little world.
Honestly, it’s difficult to argue with that assessment.

So, Is Lambert Single?
Yes.
The Queen frontman has confirmed that he is currently single while discussing his latest album, ADAM, explaining that he is navigating life independently after the end of a long-term relationship.
The singer has also made a major geographical change, moving from Los Angeles to New York. The city has become an important part of his new chapter and has influenced the music on ADAM, released through his own label, More Is More LLC.
Dating, however, hasn’t exactly been his priority.
In an interview with USA Today, Lambert acknowledged that he hasn’t dated as much as he expected or wanted to since moving to New York, partly because his attention has been consumed by creating the new album. Apparently, heartbreak and songwriting have been keeping him busy.
Turning Heartbreak Into Music

Lambert didn’t exactly keep his emotions at arm’s length while making ADAM.
About a week after his relationship ended, he traveled to the United Kingdom for his first round of writing sessions. There, he opened up to fellow songwriters about what he was experiencing and channeled the breakup directly into his music.
That emotional honesty eventually produced “Am I OK,” which Lambert describes as the album’s “heartbeat.”
So while the internet may be happily replaying Lambert and Gliese’s sunny Tulum romance, the singer himself has already moved into a very different chapter.
The kisses are from 2020. The relationship ended in 2025. And today, Lambert is single, living in New York, and turning whatever comes next into music.
As for that viral beach footage? Well, some throwbacks clearly refuse to stay in the past.
