So, naturally, when Connor Storrie and Erling Haaland both decided to ditch their signature locks, we had to investigate.
Welcome to the most important hair competition nobody asked for: Connor Storrie versus Erling Haaland.
In One Corner: Connor Storrie
Connor Storrie has already established himself as something of a chameleon, frequently disappearing into his characters and emerging looking, sounding, and moving like an entirely different person. Now, he has apparently decided that his hair needed the transformation treatment, too.
The actor was recently spotted sporting considerably shorter hair than fans are accustomed to seeing, giving us a very different take on the man we’re used to seeing with his fuller, curlier look. And, honestly? We’re not mad about it.
Storrie’s new look comes as fans eagerly await his upcoming work as Ilya. While the character does not actually sport a buzz cut in the books, seeing Storrie behind the scenes with the shorter hairstyle has only added another layer of curiosity about how the adaptation will handle his appearance.
We are trying very hard not to spoil anything, so for now, we shall respectfully keep our attention exactly where it belongs. On the hair. Mostly.

Meanwhile, the football world has its own freshly buzzed heartthrob.
Erling Haaland has officially said goodbye to his famous blonde ponytail, swapping his signature long locks for a much shorter cut.
The 6-foot-5 Norwegian football star has been turning heads since his FIFA days, when his towering frame, distinctive blonde hair, and wonderfully animated expressions made him instantly recognizable.
Now, he’s giving us a different kind of recognizable.
Haaland documented the haircut himself, declaring, “This long hair, time to let it go,” before following up with the wonderfully uncomplicated, “Short hair don’t care.”
Honestly, the man understood the assignment.

And this is where our highly scientific investigation falls apart.
Storrie’s buzz cut gives him a sharper, more transformed appearance, while Haaland’s shorter hair strips away one of his most recognizable features and puts that famously expressive face front and center.
They’re also two completely different kinds of handsome, which makes this competition deeply unfair. Storrie has the mysterious actor thing going on. Haaland has the gigantic Norwegian footballer thing going on.
Both are winning.
