This past Sunday (August 28, 2016), the 1200 block of Massachusetts Ave., S.E., Washington D.C. was home to a man-on-man sexual assault and robbery. The D.C. Police are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating the suspect armed with a gun who broke into the victim's residence and changed his life forever.
“At approximately 6 a.m., an adult male awoke to an unknown suspect in his home,” a police statement says. “The suspect sexually assaulted the victim at gunpoint and then fled the location with some of the victim’s property,” it says.
“There were no signs of forced entry into the residence,” the statement adds.
The police statement says police have listed the incident as a Burglary One and First Degree Sexual Abuse while Armed (Gun.) It doesn’t disclose the address of the house in which the suspect entered to commit the assault and burglary.

The suspect is described as a “black male, 5’8’’ in height, stocky build, approximately 200 pounds, medium to dark complexion and last seen wearing a black baseball cap, black T-shirt and black short,” the police statement says.
“After a preliminary investigation, it is believed that the victim was intentionally targeted by the suspect,” says the statement.
Officer Sean Hickman, a police spokesperson, said police would not disclose any additional information as of Tuesday, including why investigators believe the victim was intentionally targeted or whether he identifies as gay.

The statement, which police released Sunday afternoon, says anyone who has information about the case should call police at 202-727-9099. It says the department offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for an assault committed in D.C. – washingtonblade.com
