We’re getting a first look at the production a gay classic's sequel, and it’s of a shirtless man.
Last month, we shared with you the fact that a sequel to 1999 film Trick was heading into production.
Trick followed two New Yorkers, office temp/aspiring musical composer Gabriel and go-go dancer Mark, as they explored the city in the attempt to find a spot to hookup. In the end, they ended up falling in love.
Now with the sequel heading our way, we are excited to see those characters, and a few small roles like Drag Queen Coco Peru, reappearing in our lives, but this time they’ll also explore the city of Los Angeles.
Now, the official Instagram account for the sequel film has released a “first look” at two of the movie’s cast members and we’re happy to see it!
In the photo, we see Coco Peru hanging out with a shirtless J.P. Pitoc. It seems Pitoc’s character Mark is up to his old tricks as he’s shirtless once again, and we’re loving it.
Are you as excited as we are for the Trick sequel?
Despite only recently doing it’s table read, the film’s director, Jim Fall, announced that Trick 2 will premiere in 2019. The film will then come out just in time to celebrate the 20-year-anniversary of the original film.
We can’t wait!
