Man Starts Movember By Plucking & Counting Facial Hairs

Did any of you ever think something would be a great idea and then right about in the middle of it, maybe realize it wasn't a great idea?

Starting no shave Movember should not be a hard thing to do.  We shared Movember: It's Trendy, But Why Do We Do It? in the hopes that if you decide to play along and see how much facial hair you can grow in one month, that you would consider donating to the cause, too.  But actually starting the process of growing a moustache should be not difficult at all, correct?   Just shave.  Well, one man decide to do something a little different.

One of our readers sent me this video that has been making the rounds overseas.  The video was uploaded just 3 days ago and has been featured on the home page of Netherland's leading news site (www.nu.nl).  Andrejs thought we and our Instincters would find this video interesting: a guy counts how many facial hair there are in his beard by plucking each hair individually.

How long do you think it will take him and how many do you think he will find?

Fifty minutes to do 1,000 hairs.  That's dedication right there and probably about the time I would have stopped.  But 11 hours later and a smooth face, he found out that his beard contained 15,744 hair.

How will it grow back?  We shall have to wait and see.
