We've heard of brotherly love before and may have seen a couple of adult movies based on the subject, but now there's mug shots to prove it does happen.  We and this poor woman have also learned, do not step in the way when the banjo music plays.

Two drug-crazed, stark naked brothers were arrested on a laundry list of charges after they punched a woman in the face when she opposed to their passionate make out session outside an apartment complex in Indianapolis on Sunday, officials said.

Timothy Batz and his older brother, Noah, were completely nude when an assistant manager at the Lighthouse Landings apartments spotted them "passionately making out" near a dumpster, according to WISH-TV.

The manager alerted police and urged residents to avoid the incestuous siblings. But an unassuming woman nonetheless came too close to the strange scene, and subsequently took several punches to the face, resulting in a large knot on her forehead, cops said.

The woman fled to her car, at which point one of the brothers began banging on her windows while hurling death threats.

The Batz brothers continued the bizarre stunt by getting in and out of unlocked cars in the parking lot without consulting owners.

Police eventually arrived and cuffed the unhinged brothers, who told arresting officers that they were high on psychedelic mushrooms and marijuana.

Timothy Batz, 21, was jailed on a slew of charges, including battery, disorderly conduct, resisting law enforcement, public indecency, obscene performance, incest, attempted car theft and intimidation.

His 24-year-old brother was charged with public intoxication, incest, obscene performance, disorderly conduct, possession of marijuana, resisting law enforcement and attempted auto theft. – NYDailynews.com

Now love is love and we should not judge, but loving a family member is usually labeled incest and is frowned upon.

What is our community's view on incest?  Is love love?

With that said, yes, we would still like to see the video!

Mushrooms and marijuana, hmm, making you do crazy things?  Or allowing you to do what you've always wanted to do?

      • We must point out that we

We must point out that we have international readers where English may not be their first language.  And did you mean to use an ellipsis?

An ellipsis is a set of three periods ( . . . ) indicating an omission. Each period should have a single space on either side, except when adjacent to a quotation mark, in which case there should be no space.

An ellipsis can also indicate hesitation, though in this case the punctuation is more accurately described as suspension points.

        I wasn’t really . . . well, what I mean . . . see, the thing is . . . I didn’t mean it.

And then there are the two periods at the end of your supposed sentence.  Tragic.

I love how one of the charges is "obscene performance" — reminds me of when Roseanne sang the national anthem.

Wait, isn't incest a sexual activity? How were they charged with it? Did someone see them getting it in? Kissing is not sex.

  7. I have a twin. He’s straight,

I have a twin. He's straight, I'm gay. Growing up, we explored our sexuality together. We're still intimate, but I wouldn't say it's romantic or sexual. It's a closeness that only we have between us.

  8. I doubt that ‘love’ had much

I doubt that 'love' had much to do with the "making out". Availability is more likely what caused these two to get that intimate. They were high and horny. They know each other and presumably trust each other and they had lost any inhibition due to their intoxication.

  10. When I was a teenager I had a

When I was a teenager I had a straight male friend who was my partner in crime and he loved women he's never had any desire in men but being so close and sharing experiences only him and I would ever feel made us feel closer and in the heights of our drug fueled euphoric adventures we have had moments where we made out and expressed our affection for each other all while there being a given understanding that it wasn't like a romantic  I'm you've turned me gay let's get married and adopt kids thing, but more like brothers who have nothing else to hide from each other and can be open and share everything together.

Now when I think about kissing my twin brother it grosses me out, but we aren't that close. My siblings are all bastards. But I do imagine these two brothers having what my friend and I had on this day. I think it's beautiful and I don't think it's about flesh and pleasures of the flesh its more about love and there's so many ways to love and sex is a way to physically express that love. I think it's more about what that love is based on that makes it weird or makes it beautiful and I think in this case it is beautiful and secretly most who finds it erotic I think understands what I am saying and find it erotic because of what I am saying.

There is so much to life that isn't being discovered or lived or felt because we are inhibited by societal ideals and are afraid to open up and live in the moment free of judgement. If you go with what feels right you'll find in most cases it was only ever wrong because others who couldn't understand it attached their own negative connotations to it.

  11. I agree: the taboo is there

I agree: the taboo is there to prevent birth deformities. That's not applicable to two people of the same gender. I would, however, have an issue if it is cross-generational, as there are power issues involved there as well that cannot really be sorted out.

There is a film that talks about this issue. 2 brothers are sons of the same mother but different fathers. He fall in love for each other. I think it's a beautiful film to do called "Do Começo ao Fim" (from start to end).

  15. Personally I would not go

Personally I would not go there, but I guess that is their business … incest was not always taboo an it is mostly taboo among heterosexuals due to the high risk of birth deformities. May they live happily every after now that they are out.

    • The higher risk is

The higher risk is statistically true but very, very low. Most call it negligible.  I read an interesting article once about how many siblings fall in love, move to a new town, and start over because of the taboo.

Ultimately, for me, consenting adults are consenting adults. I didn't want anyone to tell me who to love so I won't tell anyone else.
