The husband of a Duggar daughter is sharing his biggoted thoughts on Twitter… again.

The former tv show 19 Kids and Counting used to be a classic on the reality tv channel TLC (before a child molestation scandal ended the show).

Since the show’s cancelation, one particular member of the family, Derick Dillard, has been making a stink online with his intolerant and homophobic Twitter posts. He does this under the disguise of expressing his opinions and faith.

Dillard, who married into the family, is currently getting some heat because he attacked another TLC show.

On Twitter, Dillard decided to criticize an ad for a new reality series titled N and J by Design, which centers on a gay couple, Jeremiah Brent and Nate Berkus, who also work as designers.

As Dillard posted:

“What a travesty of family. It’s sad how blatant the liberal agenda is, such that it both highlights and celebrates a lifestyle so degrading to children on public television as if it should be normal.”

Then, Dillard defended his homophobic post after fans and followers questioned and criticized him.

One woman asked what exactly was it about the gay couple’s life and tv show that Dillard felt so offended by. Especially since neither affected his life at all.

Dillard responded that, “They affect this poor child, as well as what perversions are celebrated. If it were adultery, I doubt a network would be so quick to focus on the reality of it as if it were ok.”

In this instance, Dillard is referring to the men’s daughter, Poppy, who was included in the tv show’s advertisements.

Then, another commenter stated that Dillard was acting as a bad Christian while citing the Bible, and saying that he should not judge other people or attack them because he believes they are sinning.

To which Dillard responded,:

Keep in mind that this isn’t the first time that Derick Dillard has expressed bigotry online. For instance, he once used social media to go after transgender teenager and TLC star Jazz Jennings.

Dillard’s actions got so bad that TLC eventually took Dillard off of the reality show (before it was canceled).

But when one Twitter user asked how Dillard would act if one of his children ended up being LGBTQ, he said, “We’d love them just the same.”

  1. I think the Duggars should

I think the Duggars should take care of their own before telling others how they should or should not care or love each other.  We love watching Nate and Jeremy too.
