Back in mid-September, Wilton Manors was ready for an attack. The gayest city in Florida and the country, per capita wise, was being threatened online by someone many of us knew too well ( Beach Bear Scam Artist Threatens Orlando-Style Massacre).  Craig Jungwirth was appearing to be a threatening presence that needed to be stopped and luckily, he was ( Man Accused Of Threatening LGBT Community In Wilton Manors Indicted).

As the investigation continues into his threats of harm and violence, more news is coming out about him and unfortunately many of us in the community are not surprised.

Federal prosecutors are confident that former Wilton Manors resident Craig Jungwirth used Facebook to threaten to “exterminate” gays and lesbians in South Florida, but they can’t tell yet which account he used to issue the ominous statement.

Jungwirth had 59 different accounts, Assistant U.S. Attorney Marc Anton told a federal judge during a hearing Monday. Investigators became aware of the threat on Aug. 30, when a tipster sent a screenshot of the threat to the FBI.

According to that screenshot, the threat came from Jungwirth. But when investigators executed a search warrant on one of Jungwirth’s accounts, they were unable to locate the post. “At this point we have not been able to identify the specific account from which the threat was sent,” Anton told U.S. Magistrate Judge Patrick Hunt. Additional warrants are needed to go through the other accounts, Anton said.

Jungwirth, 50, has been charged with making an online threat and faces up to five years in prison if convicted. The trial is scheduled to begin Nov. 14. – sun-sentinel.com

I can recall friends warning me on Facebook about Craig using different and fake Facebook pages.  They would share the photos he was using at the time that were definitely not him.  I can recall seeing him on one of the hook-up apps as well as both his real pic and the ones he was using online elsewhere.  This is not a sound man.  Myself, good friends, acquaintances, and members of the bear community and Wilton Manors are very happy he is being considered dangerous. The amount of joy when he was pulled off the street was palpable.

We will await his trial on November 14th.
