Anyways, kittens, hunties, whatever… good news! Our favorite reality competition show is coming back for its 11th helping (sounds like me at an buffet on a Tuesday night), as it was revealed today that RuPaul's Drag Race has been renewed for another fantabulous season!
It will return to VH1 once again, which has aired the show now since season 9 plus All Stars 3. Untucked will also be back on the popular cable network.
“After ten sickening seasons, the Drag Race phenomenon is just getting started,” said RuPaul in a statement. “I want to thank VH1 for providing this amazing platform for a whole new generation of super talented drag queens.”
“We are thrilled that Drag Race will continue to lead the conversation of inclusion and diversity as the show embarks on its eleventh season,” said Pamela Post, SVP Original Programming & Development at VH1. “It’s unprecedented for a show to continue to grow on the scale that Drag Race has, and it’s just the beginning.”
So now that season 11 is back, does this mean that we will get to see Vanessa "Vanjie" Matteo get a second chance just like Eureka did this season (minus the leg breaking and stuff)? Rumor has it that she might be part season 11, which IMHO would make the most sense given that she was one of the biggest parts of S10 and was only on one episode. VANJIE!
