If you’re looking for summer romance, Chiang Mai is apparently the place to be.
Roughly 60 percent of adults are single, making it one of the largest dating pools in the world. Add in Thailand’s legalization of same sex marriage in 2025, a welcoming social scene, and date nights that average just $58, and it’s easy to see why Chiang Mai topped the list.
