Australians Logan Stojcevski and John Woods got married this past Thursday while riding a roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California.

The two from Wollongong, New South Wales got engaged in 2015 even before marriage equality was made legal in Australia.

As soon as that happened, the two flew to Southern California because they knew they wanted to get married in a fun and exciting way.

“I’ve been a massive coaster fan all my life," said Stojcevski to KTLA Los Angeles, "Six Flags Magic Mountain is my favorite place in the world, so what a better place to get married, and on our favorite ride, Twisted Colossus.”

The Twisted Colossus, which opened in 1978 as just the Colossus, is a mainstay at Six Flags Magic Mountain. Its even been featured in the film National Lampoon’s Vacation.

As GayPopBuzz reports:

“Twisted Colossus it’s the craziest air-machine in California, the fastest, tallest and longest roller coaster!”

“Some crazy fans even consider it the eighth wonder of the world. Originally designed and built by International Amusement Devices… It was then renovated in 2015 by Rocky Mountain Construction to feature barrel roll inversions and a near-vertical drop.”

Apparently, the two officially tied the knot right before one of Twisted Colossus’s drops.

Congratulations to the crazy happy couple.
