We've touched on the use of the 'No Fems' phrase, fem shaming, desiring a masculine mate, etc., ("No Fats, No Fems" Shirt – "We're Sexist, Racist And Discriminatory AF." Really??). The debate has been boiled down to who cares, it's disrespectful, they're assholes, let then choose who they want, and can't we all just get along? It usually never ends well with the majority of people stating that gay men that use 'No Fems' are douchebags.
But what if the script was flipped? What if the phrase was 'No Masc?' How would the debate go then? We would of course have the people in the kumbaya korner singing that we should all just get along. But would the debate be as voracious against the 'No Masc' users?
Justin Sayre may be attracted to men, but that doesn’t mean he’s a fan of “masculinity,” at least in the stereotypical sense.
In his new video for HuffPost Queer Voices, the sassy writer-performer opens up about that irony ― and it’s a hoot.
“My therapist and I discovered that I don’t like men. I just don’t like them,” he quips in the clip, which can be viewed above. “Masculinity, to me, not only is an affront, but it’s an abuse.” – Huffingtonpost.com
Justin Sayre doesn't come out and use the term 'No Masc' but he clearly has a preference. Here's a quick clip from one of his times at the mic.
Chairman Sayre takes on aggressive masculinity and the risks of "Frat Boy Gangbang." This segment is from the September 18, 2016 edition.

I did a blog a while ago entitled Is It Okay To Be Uncomfortable Around Fem Guys? Yes, And Here’s Why. The responses were all over the board, but I was personally called "twat waffle" and a "douche canoe" among other names for voicing my opinion. Would it be okay to use the same names for someone who does not desire to be around masculine men?
What are your thoughts Instincters?
Does it work the same way?

In general, in cases of
In general, in cases of "minorities" as the gays or queer communities were considered for so long, the bad part isn't about what you actually prefer but to what you compare yourself to because you'll always be doomed to fall short, in comparison with the majority thus never being treated equal. Good for you regardless of what you want. It has to do with the whole nature of the patriarchal society we live in though. If someone judges a gay guy just for being feminine or because he's not straight acting, the problem isn't with not liking him in particular but by the fact that they want someone who can ACT straight in order to not be visible thus being "normal". And usually, at least in my view since i'm loud and as gay as I could be, coming from a very small closed-minded country, the problem is that people CONSIOUSLY try to act/look masculine or straight because they consider the refusal of the holy gift of masculinity the ULTIMATE crime. This sort of self-hatred cultivated in the gay community towards the gay community, is the act of hetero-normativity to it's full extent. Plus. You like men. Gurl, that is the BASIC act of femininity. But obviously this is not applicable to everyone. Obviously these are all over-generalisations and shouldn't be expressed, but the whole subjugation to white male supremacy, starts within each person. Regardless of gender, sexuality or preference. Just don't fucking judge people without even knowing them. The copying of straight behaviors, or ways of dressing won't save you honey. Sucking ****, makes you just as gay as the guy wearing a pink top that says Barbie on it so don't hate. Same goes for feminine gays. I mean, WHY do you care that much if someone who you believe is a discriminatory as**ole doesn't wanna talk to you on Grindr. Everyone should just have sex and share the gay love.

Why are people so up in arms
Why are people so up in arms about preferences? If you fall outside of someone's preferences then move along. Everyone has them and anyone who doesn't is, in my opinion, a liar. Why is it okay for someone to prefer a smooth guy over a hairy guy, but it's self loathing to prefer masculinity over femininity? Am I going to be offended if someone passed me by because I am not feminine? Not at all. I respect other people's preferences and I expect that same respect in return instead of being berated for it.
