Police Suspicious that Recently Out Rapper Lil Peep’s Death Was Foul Play

Last month, news hit that rapper Lil Peep was found dead of what looked like an overdose. The relatively new celebrity made news in the summer for coming out as bisexual and then debuted his album to moderate success.

When the artist died, his social media received a multitude of messages from celebrities like Sam Smith, Charlie XCX, and Post Malone. Then, a live stream of his memorial service was shared last night (and can be viewed below).

But that’s not the end of the story, it seems.

The Tucson Police Department have opened up an investigation into the death of Lil Peep after discovering “troubling private messages” on his phone, says TMZ.

The texts seem to have been sent by a woman who reportedly went to the tour bus to see the rapper right before his death.

“GBC [Lil Peep] high af because of me and my friend lol,” the woman allegedly wrote in a group text message. “He passed the f*ck out. My brother called and I tried to get him to say hi to my brother, but he wouldn’t wake up.”

Then before Lil Peep’s death, he posted a video on Instagram where he said, “six Xanax, and now it’s lit.”

Police are currently looking into if the Xanax he took was laced with fentanyl. That said, it will take sometime between six to eight weeks to get the results from the full toxicology test.

Rapper Eminem Under Fire For Leading A "F*** Trump" Chant During A Concert

Rapper Eminem is making headlines because of a chant he made insulting Donald Trump.

The rapper was performing at the Reading Festival in Reading, England this past Saturday and was recorded in the moment.

During the performance, Eminem said:

“So Reading, I’m not about to stand up here and use this fuckin’ stage for some kind of a platform to be all political and shit, and I don’t want to cause any controversy so I won’t say no names — but this mother f*** Donald Trump I can’t stand!”

Eminem then led the audience in a chant of “F*** Trump” before starting the song "White America."

The thing is that Eminem probably doesn’t care if we or Billboard report on this incident. In fact, if Donald Trump were to respond to the moment (which, let’s be honest if Trump got wind of this it’d be 50/50 on if he’d tweet about it), Eminem would do nothing but laugh.

Rapper Ca$h Out Starts Thirst And Debate Over His Big Tweet

Credit: Twitter @TheRealCashOut

Dear lord, get a load of this one (or be jealous that you can’t).

At this point it’s become fair game for celebrities to use social media to get some attention from fans. Scroll through Twitter or Instagram and soon you’ll have an eyeful.

And one of the latest thirst traps that’s making fans go crazy? A few not-so-subtle tweets sent out by rapper CA$H OUT.

A couple days ago the rapper tweeted a video of himself standing up from his seat to turn off the video. Pointless... other than the fact that you get an eyeful of his bulge through his shorts. (That and the fact that he shared a link to his latest album. Really Ca$h Out?)

And then fans were quick to remember a video he took of himself in a towel a few weeks back (which also had a link).

Now at first, some might call the bulge fake, but others say its all real. But of course, none of us know for certain.

But at the very least, his fans are having fun imagining if it is.

What do you think? Do you think its real? Fake? Or does it not matter at all?

Rapper Lil Peep Came Out As Bisexual On Twitter

Seems this is a perfect time to come out as bisexual on Twitter. First Aaron Carter did it and now rapper Lil Peep is doing it.

The rap artist went to twitter and announced his sexuality to the world in the most mundane way.

The best part is that his fanbase looks to be totally ok with it. In fact, some have already started lining up for that kiss.

But who is Lil Peep? I checked him out after the news came out and it looks like he's a relatively new rapper who's working his way up. He's still pretty unknown, but he's growing a fanbase fast and gaining more experience.

Honestly, given the fact that he's so unknown and that it's so close to Aaron Carter's coming out, one has to wonder if this is another celebrity publicity stunt. If so, it brings up the same discussion we had for the Dublin Drag Qeen who video taped herself punching a man who snatched her wig.

But forgetting all that, let's take a look at his music. So far, he raps to slow jams and beats, which has made other writers call him an "emo-rapper." I get where they're coming from (plus he calls himself a Goth), but I don't know if that's a perfect title for his sound.

But don't let me decide for you. You can check out two of his songs down below to hear for yourself.

Will he be the next big thing? Who knows. But, we might check in with him later to see what happens.
