Andy Cohen is going to have one heck of a night at the 30th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in New York City this May.

The Watch What Happens Live host has been announced as this year’s recipient of the prestigious Vito Russo award at the upcoming ceremony on May 4.

It’s a special honor presented annually by GLAAD in honor of one of its founding members. The award is given to an openly LGBT media professional who has made a significant difference in promoting equality for the LGBT community.

Past recipients include Cynthia Nixon, Billy Porter and most recently Orange is the New Black star Samira Wiley.

His BFF Sarah Jessica Parker will present him with the honor that night. Other attendees include Don Lemon, Samantha Bee, and Madonna, who will become the first woman ever to receive GLAAD’s Advocate for Change Award.

“Andy Cohen is a force in the entertainment industry who consistently prioritizes and celebrates LGBTQ stories. Both on-screen and behind-the-scenes, Andy’s trademark brand of LGBTQ advocacy has resulted in some of the buzziest and entertaining culture changing moments,” said GLAAD President and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis in a statement.

The father-of-one has been a driving force in pop culture for years. His late-night talk show has attracted a slew of A-list guests like Oprah Winfrey and Meryl Streep, many of which have had no problem spilling some salacious details about their lives and opinions on others.

He’s also been the brains behind many of the successful shows on Bravo, notably the Real Housewives franchises.

Andy’s personal world changed earlier this year when he became a father for the first time. He welcomed son Benjamin Allen Cohen via surrogate in February.

Logo is airing the NY ceremony for the first time, on May 12 at 8pm ET/PT.
