The next phase in the Lil Nas X saga is here.
When we last listened to Lil Nas X’s “Rodeo,” which is the third single off Lil Nas X’s debut EP 7, it featured Cardi B. The song’s lyrics speak of a difficult relationship with a lover. As he writes:
“Oh here we go, please let me know
Off we go, don’t leave me in the coldIf I took you everywhere, then well, you wouldn’t know how to walk
If I spoke on your behalf, then well, you wouldn’t know how to talk
But as we’ve now grown accustomed to, Lil Nas X has released a remix of the song. This time, he’s joined by Nas, who refers to himself as Big Nas in the lyrics.
But that’s not all. Lil Nas X also released a music video for the song earlier this week. In the video, Lil Nas X explores a world that seems to be a mix of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Matrix, Michael Jackson’s Thriller, and Vampire in Brooklyn.
