World-renowned fashion designer Alexander Wang has teamed up with Trojan Condoms in unveiling a limited-edition “Protect Your Wang” capsule collection. The collaboration is a continuation of the brands’ partnership to support the LGBTQ community and celebrate Pride. The initiative emphasizes the importance of using condoms to, cleverly stated, “Protect Your Wang” and offers charitable support of LGBTQ-inclusive sexual health programs.
A portion of the proceeds from the capsule collection, including a donation, will be made to the LGBT Center of New York in support of their sexual health programs.
The “Protect Your Wang” capsule features a t-shirt, hat, bandana, socks and co-branded condoms. Every item is paired with a “Protect Your Wang” Trojan condom designed by Alexander Wang. The apparel will be available for purchase beginning June 18th at 11:00 a.m. (EDT) on AlexanderWangNY’s Instagram and at the Alexander Wang flagship store in SoHo, New York City.

For the second year, Alexander Wang has also designed a one-of-kind “Protect Your Wang” float that will parade in front of nearly 2 million attendees at the New York City Pride March. The New York City Pride March takes place on June 24, 2018, beginning at 12:00 p.m. (EDT) from the West Village at 16th St. and 7th Ave. Keep an eye out for the “Protect Your Wang” Trojan condoms and other swag that will be given out along the route.
Trojan invests in numerous public health programs, including long-standing partnerships with the National Coalition of STD Directors and Advocates for Youth, to help provide sexual health resources inclusive of the LGBTQ community. These ongoing initiatives, along with the “Protect Your Wang” campaign, offer a reminder that condoms are one of the best methods of protection against STIs and can be used in conjunction with PrEP, which only protects against HIV and not other STIs.
