Hell hath no fury like a Ru scorned… in this situation.
In ten seasons of RuPaul's Drag Race (and all three All Stars editions), the legendary host himself has rarely had any moments where he's flipped out on a queen or multiple queens. To be honest, the only ones that I can think of over the years where this has actually happened has been at the reunions, when he lost it on Tammie Brown in season one and The Vixen back in June.
Well, brace yourselves Drag Race fans, because he's going to do it again for the upcoming All Stars 4, which is rumored to be airing in 2019 (although it shouldn't be happening for a long time, IMHO).
The 57-year-old spoke about the ordeal on his podcast What's The Tee with Michelle Visage, where the iconic duo laughed it up about how he exploded and why caffeine was partially to blame for it happening.
“I’ve known Ru for 30 years. I just sat there and let her have her fun, screaming at the top of her lungs," Michelle chuckled.
Ru said that he was "jacked on java" when the incident occurred… while also admitting what many of us have known for weeks. “This is for All Stars, and everybody knows we’re doing All Stars, we’re not giving anything away. Let them guess what episode I go friggin’ crazy on.”
Michelle also said that the cast was "s**ting their pants" when it was going down. "They didn’t know what the fuck, they were like, ‘Erm’, she said. “I’ve known you like that before. That’s like old Ru.”
So this gives us one exciting reason to tune into All Stars 4 when it happens sometime soon. The alleged list of AS4 girls has been spotted all over Reddit (it's a slightly more interesting bunch than the last group), so it will be fascinating to see who is on the receiving end of Ru's meltdown.
