Coming out to your parents is one of the most difficult things for someone who identifies as LGBTQ to do, especially when you are doing it in front of millions of people to see.

Kevin Laroy (AKA Babyface Killa), who is one of the stars of VH1's popular show Black Ink Crew, decided to come out to his father in a clip from the next episode of the show.

He mentions that he hasn't seen his father in a couple of years, which makes Kevin that much more nervous to open up to him about being gay himself.

In the scene, he invites his father into his New York City apartment, which after having a drink, he decides to tell him the truth about his sexuality.  Luckily for him, his father takes it very well.

“My love for you is my love for you,” his dad explains.

“I cant be judgmental, not towards you, son,” he explains. “I may not agree with it, but it’s your life, not mine. What makes Kevin happy, at the end of the day that's what it’s all about.”

Kevin's reaction simply was that he was "shocked as hell," adding "It’s a huge relief.”
