Thanks to TVLINE’s Michael Ausiello, we now know more about singer-actress Demi Lovato’s character on “Will and Grace.” According to the TVLINE article, Lovato will play Jenny, one of the perspective surrogates for Will.
When the image above was shared to Lovato’s Instagram back in August, cast members chimed in. “What a bunch,” Sean Hayes wrote in his own caption of the snap. “And our bunch was made even better by having Demi Lovato joining our play pen.” At that time we did not know what Lovato’s role would be in W&G.
Debra Messing said that she’s adopting Demi as her “baby sister” in her own post. The snap featured the fiery redhead sitting far and away from costar Megan Mullally amid their rumored feud with each other.
Even though Lovato is best known for her music, she made her start on the Disney Channel original movie, “Camp Rock” and then landing her own sitcom, “Sonny With a Chance” also on Disney Channel. Lovato would later play Dani, girlfriend to Naya Rivera’s Santana on the Fox hit series, “Glee.” One of our readers reminded us of her short time on Grey’s Anatomy, too.
Lovato will make her first appearance on “Will and Grace” on Thursday, January 9, 2020.
