Francois Arnaud and Robbie G.K. are having a moment and we are absolutely here for it!
If you’ve been anywhere near queer entertainment circles lately, chances are you’ve heard the name Francois or Robbie more than once. That’s because Heated Rivalry stars François Arnaud and Robbie G.K. are suddenly everywhere—and honestly? We love to see it.
The on-screen couple behind Scott Hunter (Arnaud) and Kip Grady (Robbie G.K.)have become one of the most talked-about duos in queer entertainment, and now both actors are stepping into the spotlight in a big way with new magazine covers, candid interviews, and a whole lot of fan love (sans unwanted, unnecessary toxic fan comments…we’ll get to that later).

Arnaud Is Owning the Cover-Star Era
François Arnaud is currently gracing the cover of Elle Canada, and the openly bisexual actor is handling his growing fame with the kind of grounded attitude that makes fans adore him even more.
Instead of leaning into Hollywood ego, Arnaud keeps things refreshingly real.
“You can’t buy into the hype so much yourself,” he told Elle Canada while reflecting on the success of Heated Rivalryand his character Scott Hunter. “You have to see things for what they are. We made this really cool thing that we love, and it’s so amazing that other people love it too. And [now] we’re going to try to make more good things together—and apart.”
In other words: stay humble, stay grateful, and keep creating. Not exactly the worst career philosophy.
Arnaud Isn’t Afraid to Talk About Vulnerability
Part of what makes Arnaud such a compelling presence on and off screen is his willingness to talk openly about masculinity and emotional honesty—topics that Heated Rivalry fans know are central to Scott and Kip’s story.
Speaking about representation, Arnaud explained why audiences connect so strongly to emotionally complex male characters.
“I do feel like there’s something about seeing men be vulnerable and emotionally available—seeing men struggle with the pressures of masculinity and strength and then decide to soften and open up—that’s rewarding for people,” he said.
According to Arnaud, that vulnerability resonates with everyone: women who want emotionally available partners, queer audiences who crave authentic storytelling, and even straight men navigating the same pressures.
In short: vulnerability is having a cultural moment—and Arnaud is helping lead it.
Arnaud and the Cast Aren’t Tolerating Toxic Fans
Of course, with popularity comes the occasional wave of internet nonsense. But Arnaud and his Heated Rivalry castmates made it crystal clear that hateful behavior won’t be tolerated.
Alongside co-stars Hudson Williams and Robbie G.K., creator Jacob Tierney, and author Rachel Reid, Arnaud shared a powerful message online addressing toxic fans.
“Don’t call yourself a fan if you share racist/homophobic/biphobic/misogynistic/ageist/ableist/parasocial/bigoted comments of any kind,” the statement read. “None of us need your hateful ‘love.’”
The message was blunt, united, and very much on brand for a cast that’s clearly protective of the community that supports them.
Robbie G.K. Is Ready for His Close-Up
While Arnaud is dominating the Elle Canada cover, Robbie G.K. is having his own star moment over on the cover of Behind the Blinds—and let’s just say the photos are making fans look twice.
Sporting a white sando top and a noticeably buffer physique, Robbie looks more than ready for a bigger slice of the spotlight.
But beyond the photoshoot glow-up, the actor has also been reflecting on what Heated Rivalry means for LGBTQ+ audiences—especially within the world of sports storytelling.
For many viewers, the series has become an important example of queer representation in a space where those stories are still far too rare.
Could Robbie G.K. Be Broadway Bound?
And if Robbie has his way, we might soon see him flexing his talents outside the Heated Rivalry universe.
In an interview with Page Six, the actor revealed a dream role that musical theatre fans will absolutely appreciate.
“I’d love to be any part of the Jets male ensemble in West Side Story,” he shared.
The idea isn’t random either—Robbie actually has a background in dance and musical theatre, meaning he could absolutely pull off a high-energy stage performance.
Honestly? We’d buy tickets immediately.

What’s Next for Scott and Kip?
As for the future of Scott and Kip—affectionately dubbed “Skip” by fans—Robbie says even he doesn’t know what lies ahead.
“I genuinely don’t know what the future holds for ‘Skip’—and even if I did, Jacob would destroy me if I said anything,” he joked. “I hope whatever Season 2 holds, the fans get what they want out of it.”
And if this current cover-star takeover is any indication, they’re just getting warmed up.
