We first heard of 'Go Robot' months ago as one of the new songs by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. They do things a little backwards and have recently released their video for the what should have been ranked as one of the best songs of the Summer of 2016. Rolling Stone gave us the heads up on this new video and reminded us that "'Go Robot' appears on the Red Hot Chili Peppers' new album, The Getaway, which was produced by Danger Mouse and released in June. The LP marked the group's first since 2011's I'm With You."
Before we get to Anthony Kiedis as an albino codpiece wearing Tony Manero, there was another video for 'Go Robot.' When the song was first released in June, Red Hot Chili Pepper fans TRICKFINGER constructed a video before the boys could. I thought they did a smashing job. See for yourself.
