Transgender film critic Danielle Solzman released an abusive email he allegedly sent her.  She originally screenshotted the email back in September, shortly before the #metoo movement began, as she said she was scared to name the person for legal threats against her.

She confirmed this week that it was in fact Miller after the other allegations about him were brought to light. Danielle said that he was supportive when she came out as transgender in 2015, but claims he sent the angry email after she asked him to remove a joke about “tranny dumpster sex” on his personal website.

In T.J.'s alleged response, he repeatedly calls Solzman “Daniel,” writing, “You’re not a transgender, you’re not a tranny—your [sic] a fucking asshole, Daniel.”

“You have merely confirmed what I always knew,” he wrote. “This pursuit of transgender identity is nothing more than an opportunity for you to distinguish yourself as someone who is special, but what is really special is how retarded it is that you would ever think to attack me or say that I’ve been offensive.”

“Never contact me again you weird, strange, terrible man,” the email continued. “If you were bothered to look into anything that I’ve ever done you would find not only have I had sex with transgender people, but I have donated widely to organizations that support their freedom. They, like every other human being, is consistently persecuted, meant to feel lonely and attacked for their offenses to nature.”

A rep for Miller who asked to not be named told The Huffington Post that his client was “admittedly going through some things” at the time of the email, but insists he’s not transphobic.
