Very few people could pull together groundbreakers from almost all aspects of the entertainment world for their latest music video, but if there is anyone that can do it-it’s Taylor Swift. The teaser for her new single “You Need To Calm Down” gives us a hint of a summertime bash the likes of which we have never seen.
The roster of guest stars (with more to come) is truly a who’s who of LGBT trailblazers; Ellen DeGeneres, Ryan Reynolds, Bobby Berk, Billy Porter, Ciara, RuPaul, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Justin Mikita, Adam Lambert, Todrick Hall, Hayley Kiyoko, Adam Rippon, Chester Lockhart, Dexter Mayfield, Hannah Hart, Antoni Porowski, Jonathan Van Ness and Tan France are all poised to join Swift as the video drops tomorrow morning at 8:15 am ET.
The release of the video for “You Need To Calm Down” comes immediately after Swift’s surprise appearance at the legendary and historic Stonewall Inn last Friday where she popped in as happy hour ended wishing the crowd a “Happy Pride Month” as she finished a rendition of her smash hit “Shake It Off”
Based on the roster of amazing guest stars and Swift’s sugary sweet anticipatory Instagram posts, “You Need To Calm Down” is going to lead to her most rabid (and proud) fans to do the exact opposite!
