We sometimes wonder what it would have been like to have grown up with a gay sibling. How great it would have been to have someone to share thoughts and feelings with. And not just that, but to know that your sibling and confident can relate to everything that you're going through. The road to self-love and self-acceptance could have been so much easier.
But then it dawns on us that those are all romantic notions. Siblings, as much as we love them, can also be a pain in the ass. They can be cruel, vicious, and competitive. As they say, you've got to take the good with the bad.
